Kristen E. Evans
Kristen Evans provides strategic and day-to-day leadership for Granite HR Consulting. Kristen brings more than 15 years of experience as an HR executive with a skill for assessing organizational needs, setting strategic direction and implementing initiatives that enhance overall company performance. She helps clients form and execute business strategies, navigate change management and improve performance with hands-on consulting services.
Kristen is experienced with providing routine HR support to employers such as recruitment, employee onboarding, disciplinary actions, termination and conflict resolution. She also conducts audits and reviews handbooks, company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current federal and state labor and employment regulations. Kristen guides businesses on best practices to decrease the likelihood of employment-related lawsuits and improve their processes for handling employment-related complaints. She also provides workforce planning consulting and assists companies with analyzing and anticipating workforce supply and demand, assessing gaps and developing talent management strategies to ensure that businesses have the right people with the right skills in the right places at the right time.
She was most recently vice president of human resources at PACE Resources, Inc. in York. In this role, she led a comprehensive talent management strategy for a diverse workforce and was actively involved with strategic planning, programming development, business succession planning, mergers and acquisitions and restructuring. Kristen also previously served as HR director for Harrisburg University and Triple Crown Corporation and as HR manager for Cintas Corporation. In these roles, she provided leadership for all HR functions, implemented payroll systems, carried out programs to improve employee engagement and enhanced performance evaluations processes. She also developed change management communications strategies and provided internal coaching in support of business succession/transitions.
Kristen was named among Central Penn Business Journal’s 40 under 40 in 2019. She is active in community sports organizations and currently serves as Vice President of the Susquehanna Township Youth Football & Cheer Association. She previously served as a basketball coach for TEAM PENNSYLVANIA (Advanced Hoops, Inc.) and for Hanna Hoops Basketball, which she founded.
Kristen received her B.A. in sociology from Shippensburg University.
