Required Form I-9 Update for U.S. Employers
Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, is used to verify the identity and employment authorization of each individual that a U.S. employer hires. It is made up of three sections:
- Employee Information and Attestation (Identifying information completed by employees)
- Employer or Authorized Representative Review and Verification (Identifying information completed by employers)
- Reverification and Rehires (Completed by both employees and employers when employment authorization requires reverification)
