Candice Rice provides tactical HR support to clients, assisting them with timely, hands-on personnel and compliance tasks, as well as executing organizational, productivity and employee morale programs. She leverages her HR knowledge to execute mission-critical initiatives while keeping in mind each client’s objectives and opportunities.
Candice has a proven ability to work with both people and HR systems positively and successfully. She served in HR at a B2B supply and distribution company where she assisted with all HR-related matters such as payroll and budget monitoring, workers compensation matters, employee records, as well as hiring, onboarding, reviews and personnel-related activities. She also developed and implemented Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) efforts.
Prior to that, she was an HR assistant at a senior care facility, where she played a key role in the facility’s efforts to remain compliant, handling tracking for staff professional licensing and certifications, as well as participating in HIPPA trainings and the facility safety board. Candice has also served at an HR consulting agency where she handled clients’ employee records, payroll and change in employment status activities, such as onboarding and termination procedures. She also has extensive experience in frontline customer service in administrative and food service positions.
An SHRM Certified Professional, Candice is active in the business community, serving on the board of directors for the Human Resources Professionals of Central PA as the diversity chair. She earned her B.A. in psychology with a minor in human resources management from York College of Pennsylvania.
